This tee features the queens of the Iranian Pre-Revolution music scene, Ramesh, Googoosh, Leila Forouhar, Heideh, Mahasti, and Homeira at the height of their popularity before the 1979 revolution. The back of the tee is the reproduction of a warrant issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran for them and other musicians to show up to the Revolutionary Court to receive their sentences for the crime of making music.

Some of you might know that I (Midnight Rider’s founder and Creative Director) am Iranian-American. I’m heartbroken over the deaths of Mahsa Amini and hundreds of protestors in Iran over the last 6 weeks and I support the liberation of the Iranian people without foreign intervention from the dictatorship of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

All profits from the sale of this tee go to the Center for Human Rights in Iran.

This is an awesome t-shirt, beautiful original design and probably the best fitting t-shirt I own. I don't normally wear t-shirts because I have broader shoulders and don't like how they fit but this one is the perfect balance of being loose and fitted -- I'll definitely be getting more midnight rider shirts!

i love the idea behind this tee and am happy to support it, but the tee itself is kind of a bummer. the graphic is awesome but the distressing looks forced, it literally has vertical lines running down it. and my bad i should have ordered a M / the L is SO long in me ( i’m 5’6 / 155 ) also it’s not as soft as i expected. so theres a love hate thing going on here but i still like it enough to keep it + wear it ! xx

Love that Midnight Rider spotlights the legends (including lesser known greats). So when there was an opportunity to support Iran and epic female Iranian musicians, I had to jump on it. It's a great, comfy Tshirt, I have quite a few MR pieces in the closet (mostly Townes and Waylon) and SO glad to add these Persian musicians to the collection. Thanks for supporting Iran, Iranian women in particular, and ultimately an Iranian Revolution! Zan! Zendegi! Azadiiiii!

I actually love how this t-shirt looks but unfortunately the dye on the shirt comes off on the skin. After a few hours of wearing this, my torso had turned grey. It took about 10 minutes of scrubbing in the shower to get it all off. I was going to purchase a few of these for family and friends but cannot in good conscience do so, given the poor quality. What a shame.

Love this shirt with it's 70's retro feel. And I'm happy to be supporting Center for Human Rights in Iran with this purchase. It makes me sad and angry when I see pictures of Iranian and Afghanistan life for women before the Taliban and Iranian revolution and how repressive it is now. Cool shirt with a purpose!

I love it so much! Super well made and feels amazing on. The small feels like a small/medium, lots of room in case in shrinks in the wash.

Hands down a must have shirt in your closet collection. The quality of the shirt is so soft—feels like a vintage concert T-shirt from the 70’s. The sizing is unisex and I went with the small for a looser fit (5’5’ 125lb). If you want it fitted I would advise going down a size. This shirt is legendary and the message on the back shares a much needed awareness and reminder for Iranian women.
